Today, both Juniors and Seniors take part in the Challenge Almere-Amsterdam. At 11.00 o’ clock, the Junior Challenge takes of in which children from Dutch High Schools compete and cover 1/10 of the long distance triathlon. Over 500 children will participate!

Sports men and women (55+) will spend the day taking part in the Senior Challenge. They have already started by swimming at a local sports facility, after which they will cycle 20 km towards the Esplanade and from there they will walk 7 km around the Weerwater to explore the course which the athletes will compete on tomorrow during the ETU European Championships.
