We received more than a few questions about the different Transition bags last year. In this highlight the function of each bag will be explained once more.
At registration you will receive 3 bags, one red, one blue and one green. All of which have a specific function and are marked with your start number.
Red bag:
Will be used for the Swim/Bike transition. Should contain everything you need for your transition, except for what is attached to your bike. It’s not possible to leave anything around your bike in the TA. Put your wetsuit and other swimming gear in the red bag when you’re done.
You can check in your red bag at the Changing Area within the TA after the registration on Friday or prior to the start on Saturday morning. During the race your bag never leaves this Changing Area! The bag can be claimed in the Changing area after you finish.
Blue bag:
Will be used for the Bike/Run transition. Should contain everything you need for the second transition. It’s not possible to leave anything around your bike in the TA, including your running shoes. Put your bike gear into the blue bag when you’re done.
You can check in your blue bag at the Changing Area within the TA after the registration on Friday or prior to the start on Saturday morning. During the race your bag never leaves this Changing Area! The bag can be claimed in the Changing Area after you finish.
Green Bag:
Will be used to store your pre/after race clothing. Should be handed in prior to the start at the Changing Area – do not hang this bag on the racks together with your blue and red bags. This green bag will be removed. The bag can be claimed inside the theater directly after your race.
