Participate in Challenge4All!
During the weekend of 12-14 September, Almere will revolve around the CHALLENGEALMERE-AMSTERDAM. Friday 13 September will feature the Challenge4All: a recreational triathlon. Seniors (55+) can join the Senior Challenge and people with an intellectual disability can participate in the No Limit Challenge. We challenge you to participate in this unique triathlon!
No Limit Challenge
The No Limit Challenge (for people with an intellectual disability) consists of a 20 minutes swim, 25 km bike course, and 6,5 km walk course. We will take a break after each activity in order to rest. During the summer months, participants can follow a special training for the Challenge with Trim Slim (walking group) and FRTCA (cycling group). In connection with for safety it is mandatory to wear a helmet while cycling.
Senior Challenge
The Senior Challenge is organized for citizens from Almere, Flevoland, and outside of Flevoland. In short: for everyone!
The swim course will be completed at Van Rheenen Sport, located at Fanny Blankers Koen Sports Park (FBK). After the swim, participants will cycle through Almere and will park their bikes at the Challenge event location at the Esplanade in the center of Almere. After lunch, participants will start the final part of the Challenge: the walk around the lake. The walking course starts and ends at the Esplanade.
Participants who originate outside of Almere are advised to park their cars at the FBK-Sports Park. They will receive a detailed description how to cycle back to this parking lot after the race.
In connection with for safety it is mandatory to wear a helmet while cycling.

The Challenge4All is organized by Sportservice Flevoland, De Schoor, Triade, Van Rheenen Sport, FRTC Almere, TrimSlim and CHALLENGEALMERE-AMSTERDAM.
Challenge4All is made possible by the province of Flevoland and the city of Almere.
The short distance consists of:
20 minutes swimming
25 km cycling at approximately 15 km/hrs
6,5 km walking at approximately 5 km/hrs
The middle distance consists of:
20 minutes swimming
35 km cycling at approximately 17 km/hrs
6,5 km walking at approximately 5 km/hrs
The long distance consists of:
20 minutes swimming
35 km cycling at approximately 17 km/hrs
10 km walking at about 6 km/hrs
Lunch will be provided at the VIP area. Participation costs € 10,-. You will enjoy a sportive and fun day out, a finisher’s shirt, a drinking bottle, fruit, coffee and tea at the start, a lunch, a medal and a drink at the finish line. The support is provided by volunteers from various sport clubs from Almere.

Training
- Swim: To train for swimming you can buy a ride card at a discount at the Van Rheenen swimming pool
- Bike: To train for cycling you can join the group FRTCA
- Walk: To train for walking you can walk 3 times for free with Trim Slim
Zone3 Swim Course
20 minutes in the swimming pool at FBK Sportpark
The swimming takes place in the swimming pool from Van Rheenen Sport at the Fanny Blankers Koen Sportpark (Marathonlaan 10, Almere). Each participant will swim for 20 minutes before leaving the water.
Bike Course
1 lap of 25km or 35km
The bike course will be a 25km or 35km guided tour through Almere. The speed will be about 15km/h (short distance) and 17km/h (long distance). The course starts at FBK Sports Park and ends at the Esplanade.

Walk Course
1 lap of 6,5km or 10km around the lake Weerwater
Guided by Trim Slim and the Almeerdaagse, participants complete a walking course of 6,5 or 10 km. The average speed will be 5km/h (short distance) and 6km/h (long distance).
