CIOVITA new Merchandise Partner of Challenge Almere-Amsterdam: ‘From South Africa to a collaboration with one of Europe’s most iconic Long Distance Triathlons’

It is a partnership that is presented with pride and almost reads like a boys’ adventure story: the originally South African CIOVITA becomes the new Merchandise Partner of Challenge Almere-Amsterdam. “For us this is a reminder of how far we have come: from our factory in Woodstock to now standing side by side with one of the most iconic triathlon organizations in the world.”

The collaboration between Challenge Almere-Amsterdam and CIOVITA will in the short term result in a dedicated online webshop, where athletes – and other enthusiasts – can order the unique gear from CIOVITA. In addition, the brand will of course be present during the race weekend of 13 September 2026 at the Expo of Challenge Almere-Amsterdam.

CIOVITA, originally a cycling apparel brand, is no stranger to the triathlon world: among others, world-class athlete Bradley Weiss – winner of several Cross Triathlon World Championships – is an ambassador for the brand. “For us, Challenge Almere-Amsterdam stands for perseverance, a rich history and a deeply rooted sports community,” CIOVITA said in a statement about the new collaboration. “These are core values that perfectly match CIOVITA’s mission to support athletes with premium sportswear, specifically developed for everyone who seeks out limits, races hard and embraces the journey. As CIOVITA expands in Europe, it is important for us to collaborate with events that live and breathe endurance sport. Together with Challenge Almere-Amsterdam we look forward to supporting athletes, volunteers and the triathlon community both on and alongside the course.”

For Challenge Almere-Amsterdam Event Director Jefry Visser the partnership is also very valuable. “We want our athletes, but certainly also volunteers and even spectators, to have access to high-quality sports clothing and gear. With roots in South Africa, but by now grown into a high-quality brand that is visible almost everywhere in Europe and beyond, we are honored to work together with CIOVITA and we look forward to what will hopefully be many years of a great collaboration.”
