The triathlon-weekend still seems far away, but the organization of CHALLENGEALMERE-AMSTERDAM is already calling for volunteers who would like to help organize an even better event than last year’s. Volunteers can help us with a large variety of tasks: athlete care, doping control, water brigade, course safety, construction of the event terrain, medical aid, and much, much more. The 2017-edition of this second-eldest triathlon of the world has been appointed as both European and Dutch Championships. The organization expects around 2.800 (inter)national athletes to compete, so all volunteers are more than welcome! See this page for an overview of possibilities to volunteer.
CHALLENGEALMERE-AMSTERDAM usually receives help from about 600 volunteers who support the organization beforehand and during the race weekend in order to organize an unforgettable event for both athletes and supporters. The organization cannot function without this help, and therefore has already started calling for volunteers. “Again we hope for a high level of support from our own city”, says chairman Patrick Seinstra. “Especially since this edition is a European Championship, we want to guarantee a perfect race regarding quality and atmosphere, together with our volunteers. Furthermore, our volunteers gain a new experience themselves: they’ll gain appreciation and satisfaction, but will probably also meet a lot of new friends”.
