The organization of Challenge Almere-Amsterdam asked participants about their experiences of the race last September. Many aspects have been improved by the organization based on the inquiry results of 2014, like the Pasta Party and live streaming. Athletes appreciated the renewed swim course of 2015, and the care provided to athletes again received the highest ratings. 74% of the respondents claimed the triathlon in Almere was better than other races they participated in this year. Overall, the Challenge Almere-Amsterdam received a rating of 8.5
All participants were asked to give their opinion about, amongst others, the course, the care provided to athletes before, during and after the race, the registration process, the location of the event, and the communication surrounding the race. Similar to last year, especially the 600 volunteers who organized the Challenge Almere-Amsterdam received many compliments.
The points for improvement will be taken into account during the organization of the race in 2016. The organization will look at the information about briefings and placing of results online. In 2015, Challenge Almere-Amsterdam, Rabobank Almere, and MYLAPS Event Timing launched an app that 63% of the participating athletes used. With this app, athletes could be followed closely during their race. The reactions to the app were very appreciative. Within the coming months, the organization will work on further improving this app.
